    I’ve often heard that drinking wine is good for you, especially red wine. Is white wine healthy as well? I enjoy a glass of wine occasionally. It would be nice to know that it has health benefits.

    Yes, I believe wine is indeed good for you as long as it is taken in moderation. Off the top of my head, I recall seeing something about how much to drink.

    For example, if you are in your 60s and above, a glass of wine, red or white on a daily basis is fine. If you are younger, apparently a couple of glasses are fine too.

    I don’t know where I read this, but I’m pretty sure that red wine is a bit healthier than white wine. Then again, I don’t think it has been scientifically proven. Either way, I think drinking a glass of white or red wine could be beneficial for your health.

    Drinking wine is indeed healthy. Obviously, it should be drunk responsibly and certainly not for medical reasons. Just like if an egg a day is good, we should not be taking 5 eggs a day thinking it’s 5 times as good now. A glass or two, depending on your situation should be fine.

    That’s what I’ve heard from doctors and other experts. There’s no real evidence from a study or anything like that, but research does seem to indicate that there may be some truth behind it.

    Me, I just love the stuff! Red, white or whatever colours they want to throw at me is alright with me! I buy wine online a lot from WineOnline.ca. Sometimes, I even give it as a gift.

    I always thought red was better, perhaps because of the grape skin. But white can be as healthy too. I’d rather have a glass of wine than eat a bunch of grapes any day!

    I read that white wine can help with decreasing stress. Just like red, white wine also contains antioxidants. This is important for the human body. You just have to be careful no matter what you drink because of the calories. We enjoy the wine, but there’s a lot of calories in it. I think there’s more in white than in red.

    Having said that, I recall reading that it can also help weight loss. It may not play a huge role, but it may help reduce excess weight. As long as you drink responsibly and get plenty of exercise and eat (and drink) well, then it appears that white wine has many positives.

    I’ve heard that wine, including white wine contains properties that can help protect against cancer. In fact, it could decrease the risk of some diseases as well. Perhaps no one knows for sure. Maybe in 50 or 100 years time, it could well turn out to be fact. For now, it appears to have a good effect on health.

    Some important benefits appear to be with helping the heart and the blood vessels in and around it. Apparently, it can also help keep lung tissue healthy. In fact, the article I read said that white wine is better than red in helping lung tissue.
