I’m very, very interested in getting an outdoor pizza oven for my home. I guess a few of you might already own one? Do you have anything negative to say about it?
I am not sure how to pick one or even use one. Perhaps some of you more experienced folks out there can shed some light? I don’t really want to call around places because I don’t want to be pressured into getting something that might not be suitable. Any thoughts? Thanks.
Hi there. You are about to enter the world of the outdoor pizza oven. Your life will never be the same! Would I say anything negative? Are you kidding? I absolutely love my oven. So does my family. It is one of those things that you derive such joy from that you really look after it.
Don’t worry about picking the right one too much for now. I can tell you a place you can contact. They will help match you with the perfect outdoor oven. In fact, I got it from them.
Here’s a simple tip for now though; the size of the oven really depends on the size of your back yard. I suppose money is also a factor, but if it isn’t, then you need to choose one based on your back yard and the layout.
If you like to have lots of people over, then you may want to get a larger oven. Some ovens can cook only one while others can cook up to four pizzas. If you get a larger one, make sure you get one with wheels. Trust me, this will be so convenient if you need to move it.
Oh boy, I’m getting excited already! You did not mention where you got it from though.
Oh, sorry! I was busy cooking something in my pizza oven! I got mine from Forno Venetzia. You need to talk to them and explain your situation so that they can make recommendations. They are very good and helpful. You can see how passionate they are about what they do. Trust me, you won’t regret it.
Right, I will keep that in mind, thank you.

Yeah, I agree, that’s where I got mine from. Mine’s a bit smaller but I absolutely love it. By the way, you can use it to cook other things too you know. The food tastes great!
You need to pre-heat the oven for about an hour or so. I guarantee you, you will never taste a better pizza. You can cook thin crust pizzas to perfection.
You can use different kinds of wood too. This will give it a different and unique smoky taste that you just cannot get if you use a traditional oven. One word of warning though, until you get used to it, be careful because the pizzas cook really fast!
Don’t worry about anything. You will get used to it quickly and you will fall in love with it. They are absolutely fantastic!
You guys have got me excited! I’ll call them later today. Thanks for chatting with me. I’m soon going to be one of you!
